Problem :
Hello,from yester my eExport software is creating problem, it is not logging in, showing some error “unable to connect oracle” 1 oracle already installed, 2. if you have oracle already installed, please check the service running
Solution
Please try one thing go to start–> all programs–>Oracle Database 10g Express Edition–>Stop database
By doing this your oracle service will be stopped
now again go to the same menu and start database

All the reports of eExport can be re produced into different output formats like.
1. Acrobat PDf
2. Character-Separated Values
3. Comma-Separated Values CSV
4. Crystal Reports RPT
5. Data Interchange Format DIF
6. Excel
7. HTML
8. Lotus
9. ODBC - dBASE file
10. Rich Text Format RTF
11. Tab Separated Text
12. XML
For this user have to follow this step as shown in the image.
Click to the envelope button to export the output.
Here you can select any of the option from the drop down list. Select destination as disk file.
Any saved format can be used as an independent file.

eExport Globally use following conventions
1. F2 for selection from existing data.
2. F3 to add new data where applicable
For example - F2 Master–> Product–>Product Master
When user press F2 on Code field or click to the … button given adjacent to this field all the previously added data will display in another window.
For example - F3 Master–> Product–>Product Master
Incase user need to add new Group in Product Master –>Group. Press F3 key on this field and a new window will open to add new group. –>

In eExport we are using Indian short date format, in all the documents of eExport you have to enter date like 24/05/2007 (DD/MM/YYYY).

No you do not need to purchase oracle.
Oracle 10g XE is included with eExport - Export Sales Management Software.
Once you install oracle just go to
Start Menu –>eExport–>Install oracle.
In case you have not downloaded eExport-Export Sales Management Software, you can download or request for Demo CD.
